Gossau, Switzerland

February - March 2020

I was given the opportunity to take part in a 3-week student exchange programme that was organised between Swiss design school GBS (Gewerbliche Berufs- und Weiterbildungszentrum) and Newcastle College University Centre. During this time, I shadowed my exchange partner at her work placement where I worked on various design materials for clients including Aldi Suisse. This programme was able to develop my personal and professional skills massively:

_Quickly adjusted and adapted to a workspace that was unfamiliar; I had to work with software that was in German,
_Able to produce work to a high, industry standard,
_Cultural awareness,
_Self-reliance,
_Independence.
